 BUSINESS CARDS 

So, these are my brand new business card designs. The designs are a huge contrast to my previous ones with my own photographs taking centre stage with a slightly updated logo. 

For comparison, these are my old designs. What I thought lacked from these ones were any images. So since I'm labelling myself as a graphic artist and photographer, why shouldn't I include some of my own images. Also, my new logo features a circular outline completing off the look and the 'C' and 'M' are closer together giving it a 3-dimensional look. 

The reverse keeps a black and white form to compensate for the saturated colours of the images on the front and represents the graphics part of the card. I've managed to find a font that works well with my logo with its blocky appearance and sharp edges. The reverse also resembles some sort of sign or 'dog tag' to accommodate my contact details.

I sent these off for printing at moo.com where they offered to print a set of cards for no extra cost but an optional extra I went for were rounded corners, just to add something extra to the design and reflect the circular logo. All of these came with a matt finish. I chose the matt finish because it feels that bit more luxurious in the hands and isn't as much of a finger print magnet as gloss finishes.
