Original poster ideas

After having feedback for my last poster designs, I addressed all the areas pointed out and made several changes to my design. One of the biggest criticisms I had was the size of the supporter logos at the bottom so on my new poster I decreased these by nearly a half, this allowed more room for my image as well. Moving onto the image itself, I brought more of it into view and curved the festival name around the image like I had originally planned.

I had concerns with my previous design with the amount of different typefaces I had so I whittled them down to just two. I also added an extra component, the banner, which the text and logo now appears on. I introduced this to accentuate the festival atmosphere to let people be aware that this is a 'big' event. There are a few things I need to change in terms of the words I have on the banner, for instance, I want to get rid of the 'please visit' before the web address. As well as this, it was pointed out that the lighter coloured text stood out more so I will put the more important info like the dates in that colour.
