MY POSTER

These are the two posters I created for the food and drink festival project. I decided to do two posters to reflect my two strap lines, 'Real Food' and 'Real Drink'. The project specifically said created a poster fan an organic food event but i felt this was limiting the audience too much so the logo i created is where organic is mentioned. Otherwise I have marketed this as just a food and drink festival even though products sold will be purely organic.
The two most distinctive features of my design are the illustrations and the strap line within a green box. This is how I could relate the two posters to each other so they look united.
My choice of colours was selected carefully, inspired from photos I had taken at the farmers market and the countryside around me. Since I wasn't mentioning organic, I thought the colours should represent organic instead. The colours also represent the ingredients that influence the production and developments of the produce.
I recieved a bit of feedback from my class aswell as work towards my final pieces. Originally I had proposed for the text to wrap around the illustrations and that was something they thought I should try and also mentioned was to illustrations clear of any text.
Other pointers were to make the partner logos smaller and change some of the fonts to match the others.
